Commemoration of the 190th Anniversary of the Arrival of Indentured Labourers
To mark the 190th Anniversary of the Commemoration of the Arrival of Indentured Labourers in Mauritius, the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Heritage in collaboration with the Aapravasi Ghat Trust Fund organized the following:
- A wreath laying ceremony on Friday 01 November 2024 at 15 00 hrs at the Lotus Monument, Antoinette Phooliyar, Barlow;
- A wreath laying ceremony on Saturday 02 November 2024 at 10 00 hrs at the Aapravasi Ghat World Heritage Site.
